We have had an exciting few months here at EP!C.
The virtual Bon Appétit was another success despite it being our second virtual event. We are already diving into plans for next year and what celebrity chef we can bring in.
Our Townline headquarters is starting to buzz with activity again. We are seeing signs of being somewhat back to normal as far as educational classes, volunteering out in the community, Power Team activities, Host Homes outings, and tours to the public happening again. While we work towards everyone being back at some point, we continue to be diligent in our efforts to follow guidelines and COVID protocols.
Be on the lookout for upcoming events and how you can engage with us again after more than a year apart.
Be healthy. Be safe. Be EP!C.
Thanks to all of our generous sponsors for supporting our virtual event which raised critical funding for people with disabilities.

In August, Jerrylee was headed to the bus stop when he heard a cry for help.
We worked with our friends at AMT and Pekin Police department to acknowledge him with a community award. Both EP!C and AMT took it a step farther and nominated him for a Lifesaving Hero award through the Red Cross of Illinois. On April 9th JerryLee was recognized with this prestigious award. He was one of only four individuals out of 50 nominated in our area to receive the award.
JerryLee is a fantastic self-advocate who helps to change the narrative of what people with disabilities are capable of and what they do for our communities.

During 2020 we stopped awarding Employee of the Month recognition.
Not because we couldn’t, but because we could not narrow it down to just one staff member per month. This last year staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty to keep individuals safe and all deserved to be employees of the month.
Now that we are semi-open and back to a bit of a routine we have asked for nominations and selected candidates for the 2021 year.
Help us congratulate the following staff members:
