A Message from our CEO

We all are thankful for the people in our lives that have been there to protect and keep us safe and healthy, instructed us in who we are and what we can be and
supported us when we needed help, direction and comfort.

Volunteer Spotlight

Our EP!C Volunteer of the Month for February 2018 is Kodi Tharp!  Kodi began volunteering for EP!Casso in
September 2017 to fulfill a college course requirement.  She enjoyed it so much that after finishing her course she decided to keep volunteering two days a week.  She also helps in other areas of EP!C when needed and without hesitation.  We are grateful to Kodi for all her hard work and give her an EP!C thank you!

For more information on volunteer
opportunities please contact Carmen
McCarthy at 309-689-3606 or

Individual Spotlight

Mark joined our EP!Casso Art Studio & Gallery just as it was evolving into a place where beginning artists could learn art skills, create artwork, display their works and ultimately sell their pieces. With Mark’s enthusiasm to create and sell his artwork, he was invited to join the art business classes. There, he has the opportunity to acquire a higher level of art skills in order to create marketable artwork.

Mark’s artwork is now being displayed not only in EP!Casso Art Studio and Gallery, but also in the community at markets and in local businesses such as the Peoria Public Library North Branch.  Mark’s work has been commissioned and he has donated to fundraisers such as our annual Bon Appétit event.  Mark’s signature pop out trees style has brought him a personal income as he receives a percentage of the proceeds.

EP!C Achievement

Marisol Raydon was named our
Employee of the Month for January 2018.

Marisol puts each person before herself making sure [the individuals] are doing something they love.

Frank Johnson is our Employee of the Month for February 2018.

Frank assists other departments and committees just because he wants to be helpful, not because he has to…He goes above and beyond.
