  A Message from our CEO

Spring has sprung which brings about rejuvination and new opportunities, specifically for our individuals, our staff, our programs and EP!C as a whole. Our new Certificate Program provides 12 weeks of focused education and experience in the career fields of Technology, Culinary Arts, Horticulture and Employment Skills for Individuals with Autism. During the first session we had 25 participants, and in the current session we have 41 participants. With more individuals getting certified in their desired career field, we are working to get more individuals placed in job opportunities throughout our region.

Over 80 individuals work hard to plan, plant, cultivate and harvest fresh local produce in our EP!C Harvest greenhouse and garden. Look for us at the farmers markets, sign up for a CSA pick up, or stop by our Townline facility for the best produce in town. Our Bon Appetit fundraiser was once again a huge success! This year’s theme was a Fiesta and we hosted MasterChef Season 6 Winner, MasterChef Latino Judge, Restaurateur, Author and Celebrity Chef Claudia Sandoval. With the ever generous support of our sponsors, donors and event attendees we were able to increase support for EP!C by 26% over last year’s event.  As we look to what the rest of our fiscal year holds, we are excited for all of the EP!C growth that is ahead of us.
