What is the EP!C Foundation?

The EP!C Foundation is a visionary fund designed to support EP!C’s mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live full, enriched lives. These funds ensure that EP!C can continue its vital work, providing essential services, support, and opportunities to those who need them most. By contributing to the Foundation, you help secure a future where every individual has the chance to thrive.

Why Give to the EP!C Foundation?

Giving to the EP!C Foundation is more than philanthropy, it’s a heartfelt tribute to your loved one and a reflection of the values you hold dear. By contributing, you create a legacy that reflects your commitment to compassion, inclusion, and support for those with developmental disabilities. It’s a powerful way to honor someone who has meant a great deal to you.

An endowment fund acts as a financial cornerstone for an organization, providing a stable and enduring source of support. With your support, EP!C can expand its reach, enhance its services, and secure a brighter future for countless individuals in need. This long-term support is crucial for sustaining and enhancing the high-quality care and programs EP!C offers.

Contributions to the EP!C Foundation directly enhance the organization’s ability to deliver impactful programs and services. Whether it’s improving facilities, funding specialized programs, or supporting innovative initiatives, your gift makes a tangible difference in the lives of those EP!C serves.

When you contribute to the Foundation, you become part of a compassionate community dedicated to fostering inclusion and driving meaningful change in the world. It’s an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about creating positive change.

The EP!C Foundation is comprised of strategically invested funds that are held in perpetuity and are not spent. A prescribed distribution from these investments support EP!C and our operations. As the Foundation grows, an expanded source of stable funding is available to help us weather the ups and downs of the economy and keep EP!C viable into the future.

Types Of Funds

Honor your family member while creating a legacy in his/her name.  Creating a named endowment fund is a meaningful way to honor your loved one. We will memorialize their life and spirit with a biography and photo, which will be showcased on the EP!C website as a lasting tribute for all to view and remember.

Donors who make an outright gift or planned gift of $25,000 or more are afforded the right to name a designated fund permanently.  (Example:  The Smiley Family Endowment Fund for Residential Services.”  The fund’s principal and interest will be dedicated exclusively to the donor-specified program or service, ensuring their contribution aligns with their vision. The principal and interest will be restricted to the program or service designated by the donor.  This gift can be pledged and paid over five years.

A gift of $25,000 or more will be used to establish the donor-named endowment, which is unrestricted in its use.  This endowment provides EP!C with the flexibility to address its most urgent needs, ensuring maximum impact where it’s needed most.

EP!C Experiences

Tom, my brother, has been provided services by EP!C for well over 65 years and he loves coming here. My responsibility is to keep this organization going, so people like Tom, have everything that they need in order to be productive individuals in the community and this place does that. Come and visit, get a tour, and you'll see how special this place is. If you haven't been involved, get involved.
