On June 11th, 2020, previously scheduled to be held on March 26, 2020, EP!C will host its 9th annual Bon Appétit virtually. With the help from Emcee Greg Batton, we will broadcast live from the elegant Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette.
This event will include cooking demonstrations, stories of EP!C’s mission in action, silent and premier auctions, a Bremer Jewelry raffle, and so much more!
By RSVPing and purchasing an optional Bon Appétit Meal Kit, guests will get the opportunity to cook along with our chefs and enjoy an authentic Lebanese meal right in the comfort of their own homes. (Local Peoria Area purchase and pickup only)
EP!C’s Bon Appétit has become a premier event on Peoria’s social calendar, with proceeds benefiting the many services EP!C provides to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

We are thrilled to have Chef Jonathan Scrivner Executive Chef at the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette and Rose Smith owner of Pita’s Mediterranean Wraps demonstrate what makes Lebanese cuisine so amazing. There is no doubt this will be another sensational, gourmet culinary experience!
Chef Jonathan Scrivner has over 20 years of experience in the professional kitchen. Born and raised in Chillicothe, IL, he began his chef schooling at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago, IL. His variety of chef experience throughout the years landed him at the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette, where he has been for the past 6 years holding the position of Executive Chef for the last 2 years. His love for fresh, local produce from EP!C Harvest has helped create a wonderful partnership between the Pere and EP!C.
Rose Smith was born Tripoli Lebanon where she lived until she migrated to America in 1977. From a young age, she developed a passion for cooking with a keen sense of taste to replicate her mother’s cooking. Since March of 2011 Rose has put her passion and skills into work as the owner of Pita’s Mediterranean Wraps in Peoria, IL.
