On March 21, 2019, EP!C will host its 8th Annual Bon Appétit at the elegant Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette. This will be another sensational, gourmet culinary experience! Master Chef Shaun O’Neale will provide a live demonstration as he partners with the Pere Marquette’s Chef Jonathan Scrivner to plan a decadent dinner for you and your guests. EP!C’s Bon Appétit has become a premier event on Peoria’s social calendar, with proceeds benefitting the many services EP!C provides to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Shaun O’Neale exploded onto the culinary scene in September 2016 when he claimed the title of America’s best home cook and was named Season 7 Champion of MasterChef on FOX. He graduated from reality star to culinary star in May 2017 with the release of his debut cookbook “My Modern American Table”.
During his season of MasterChef, Shaun won over the palettes of Gordon Ramsay, Christina Tosi, Daniel Boulud and Wolfgang Puck with his bold flavors and flawless presentation. He carried the same techniques that earned him a record-setting 8 wins in the MasterChef kitchen through to his cookbook. “My Modern American Table” teaches other home cooks how to recreate Shaun’s upscale, modern American dishes like his lobster ravioli and salted caramel chocolate tart.
For the past 20 years, Shaun has been orchestrating dance floors as a DJ with the highlight of his career culminating on New Year’s Eve 2011 as he became the first DJ to perform on Las Vegas Blvd in front of over 100,000 people. Beginning in Tampa, FL and now calling Las Vegas, NV home, Shaun has taken the same skills and determination that helped him to become a successful DJ and used them to start the next phase of his life as the next up-and-coming culinary star.
Shaun is a self-taught chef who educated himself by reading cookbooks, studying the history of food and traveling across the globe to absorb different cultures and flavors. As he continues his world-wide travels promoting his cookbook and building his brand as DJ/Chef/Author, Shaun will continue to work hard for his fans and the people that support him and looks forward to everywhere this culinary journey will take him.
Event attendees and EP!C supporters at home will be able to use our Silent Auction system, BidPal/OneCause- you may be familiar with this, and you may not! The link to our giving center will be updated closer to the event.
You can visit this from any browser, or device, to get a peek at our Silent Auction items. More importantly, you can go ahead and pre-register by creating an account and registering the credit card you would like to use the night of the event. This will greatly reduce the time spent in the registration line! If you have an account from last year, that’s great! You can use the same log-in information that you created for last year’s event. Bidding will actually go live Wednesday, March 20th at noon for Silent Auction items only, live auction items you have to be present to bid on!
While you can bid from your phone, we will also have an additional bidding station set up near the silent auction and several volunteers with iPads who will be able to assist the bidding process throughout the evening. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have some amazing silent and live auction items that you won’t want to miss!
