Who We Are

EP!C is comprised of families, staff, volunteers, and community members working together to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families with unique educational, residential, employment, and clinical programs tailored to each individual’s abilities and needs. We began as a small, community-organized network of Peoria families in 1950 who took an innovative approach to disability by emphasizing ability over disability. We have since grown to serve individuals of all levels of ability residing across 15 counties in Illinois from finding funding to the best program and service match.

How We Partner with the Community

We partner with community businesses, schools, universities, organizations, and families in a variety of ways from job placement to volunteerism. There are several ways you or your business can partner with EP!C including through Hire EP!CJob PlacementHarvestEP!C Hub, EP!Casso, and Volunteering.

EP!C Experiences

Tom, my brother, has been provided services by EP!C for well over 65 years and he loves coming here. My responsibility is to keep this organization going, so people like Tom, have everything that they need in order to be productive individuals in the community and this place does that. Come and visit, get a tour, and you'll see how special this place is. If you haven't been involved, get involved.
