Mark your calendars for November 5-6, 2026, as we gather at the Sheraton Lisle Naperville Hotel for the Illinois Statewide Transition Conference a premier event dedicated to empowering transition-aged youth and young adults with disabilities.

This conference brings together a diverse group of attendees, including individuals with disabilities, their families, educators, vocational professionals, caregivers, health care providers, college students pursuing special education careers, resident physicians, and community advocates.

With a focus on person-centered transition planning, this year’s “Stepping Stones of Transition” theme invites participants to explore opportunities in independent living, education, training, employment, community integration, health care, and self-advocacy.
