Job Placement

EP!C’s Career Development Services works with you to identify the skills needed for your desired position. An initial assessment is conducted using personality assessments, skill tests, and career interest surveys to understand your current skills, interests, strengths, and challenges. An individualized career plan is then established and tailored to the identified career pathway that outlines key steps to achieve professional goals.

We then provide participants with on-the-job training through our Career Lab and internship opportunities. These partnerships in the community help job seekers gain the experience and practical skills needed for competitive employment. EP!C staff continually evaluate performance for future success. Once employment is obtained, job coaching will provide support for interviews, initial onboarding, and person-centered on-the-job guidance.

Providing support for over one hundred individuals participating in EP!C’s Job Placement program, EP!C individuals work in several different industries and positions throughout the area. Hy-Vee, Anytime Fitness, Walgreens, and the Illinois State Unemployment Office, just to name a few.
