CEO Message
The teams at EP!C are working on big plans for FY26, which starts here in July. All year long, we’ll continue to celebrate 75 years of Empowering People and Inspiring Capabilities. From DSP Week and Family Fun Night, to kicking off our 15th annual Bon Appétit, so mark us down on your calendars.
There are so many ways you can choose to be involved with us. Attending events like those listed previously, signing up for a volunteer opportunity, donating to our annual appeal, or from our wish list, liking and sharing our social media posts, just to name a few.
We hope you will help share in our EP!C journey and engage in all the great things we have planned as we look forward to another great year ahead. I thank you in advance for the part you will play in that success.
– Kim Cornwell, EP!C CEO

EP!C Sounds
Our Behavioral Health department is expanding, and we recently hired a new Music Therapist to bring unique interventions and tools that will help achieve individualized goals. This new offering will bring physical, cognitive, communication, and social benefits that utilize the power of music to promote healing, well-being, and personal growth.
Thanks to a $1,000 grant from The Pilot Club of Peoria, we were able to purchase instruments and other resources for the newly developed music therapy room at our Townline building.

EP!C Foundation

Transportation, from access and reliability to management and upkeep, is something that often comes as a challenge for those with disabilities. It’s far more than getting from point A to point B. It promotes independence, socialization, and personal growth, empowering individuals to lead fuller, more connected lives and build meaningful relationships within their broader community.
Safe and secure transportation is crucial for the individuals supported by EP!C, ensuring reliable access to essential services, appointments, volunteer opportunities, and social activities.
Thanks in part to an investment from the EP!C Foundation, we were able to upgrade our fleet and lease 10 new, 7-passenger vans from Enterprise, which includes a maintenance agreement. This not only streamlines operations but also creates a more personalized and impactful environment for everyone involved.
An EP!C new look

A year ago, we announced the expanded investment in our Springfield area by moving our second office here from the Swansea area. This move helped close the gap between territories supported and we were recently able to upgrade the signage at this location.
Not only does this help with visibility, but also acts as a display of services, piquing the interest of those who pass by.
