A Message from our CEO

You may recall seeing EP!C more visible in the communities we serve within the last year.

This was strategic and timely in that we hadn’t had much of a marketing push since our name changed back in 2013. With the wide array of support we provide, along with our 70th Anniversary approaching in 2020, it’s imperative that we remain relevant in the eye of the general public. Often we have to first tell the story of how people with disabilities impact the community before we can begin to tell our EP!C story. We hope that when you see our commercial or pass an EP!C billboard, you feel a sense of pride, excited for your EP!C story, however you are connected with us. The success stories about the people we support are important to tell in the community and when you like, share, or comment about the great things happening here, we continue to grow.

Our community is stronger because EP!C empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to work, volunteer and get involved. You can invest in helping us create more EP!C stories this year by making a donation this Giving Tuesday. Find out more or donate online at epicci.org/transportation.

EP!C Employee of the Year

In September, during our annual staff Picnic, we announced that Stacy Fearson was selected and named our 2019 Employee of the Year.  Each EOM for our fiscal 2019 year was put to a vote by our entire staff.  This is a huge honor and not the first time Stacy has been bestowed the award.  Congratulations to her and her continued efforts to work our mission.

EP!C Employees

Katrina Rogers was named our Employee of the month for September. Her nominator said “Katrina doesn’t define jobs by department because it’s all EP!C.  Through her work with Host Homes Power Team activities, she plans trips and outings making sure the community sees what EP!C is all about.  Katrina is compassionate, caring and intelligent and EP!C would be lucky to have more like her.”

Our October Employee of the Month was awarded to Willie Newman.  Willie works in our Supported Living department and he was nominated because he always makes sure staff and the people we support have a safe and happy environment to be in. He goes above and beyond to ensure individuals have opportunities, such as staying at Spook Hollow until the early morning hours so they could participate in scaring visitors.
